Born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. I attended the Art Institute of Indianapolis and have been designing since 2008. After my time at the Art Institute I moved to California to pursue my freelance career and eventually, I plan to open my own graphic design and fashion studio.

Growing up I always loved art and design. When I was young I found a sketchbook in an old box one day. I asked my mother who drew these and she told me it was her. I was so excited, I asked her why she didn't still draw or why she wasn't an artist? She told me that it didn't make any money. I asked her if I could draw and make money? My mother encouraged me to always do what was in my heart and follow my passions. I knew from that point on I wanted to draw, and that I wanted to draw for a living.

I discovered graphic design in high school. The first time I saw Adobe Photoshop,

(this was version 7 at the time), I realized then it was my destiny to be involved in design. I have been on a mission ever since to incorporate my excellent customer service skills I acquired working in food service and retail and apply it to my design skills and how I work with people.

Marty Neumeier said, "The most innovative designers consciously reject the standard option box and cultivate an appetite for thinking wrong." This is one of my favorite quotes on design because I like to think I go against the grain. To me, design is life, and nothing else matters.
